Service of Process
A Process Server is a professional who legally delivers court documents, such as Summons, complaints, Subpoenas etc., to individuals involved in a legal case, ensuring they receive proper notification of a legal action against them. This delivery, known as "service of process," is required to ensure that all parties in a legal matter (ex. lawsuit, divorce etc.) are properly notified and have a fair chance to respond in a timely manner.

The Role of a Process Server
The role of a process server is crucial to upholding the integrity of the judicial system. They guarantee that all parties involved in a legal dispute are given a fair opportunity to respond by ensuring that notification is delivered professionally and legally. Without proper service and a completion of a sworn Affidavit of Service (a legal document that proves to the court that the documents were served correctly), a court case cannot move forward.
